ACCOMMODATIONS

True Nature Education has searched long and hard throughout Costa Rica to find unique, ecologically friendly, and inspiring accommodations for our guests to stay in. All of the accommodations are clean, comfortable, and close to nature. Lodging includes electricity, hot water, internet, phone, comfortable beds and linens, and an environment which allows you to rest peacefully after a long day of activities. Most accommodations for large groups are shared. Private rooms are occasionally available for an extra fee on a first-come, first serve basis.

Paying an initial non-refundable deposit of $350 which includes the $35 Payment Processing Fee will lock in your tuition rate and hold your space for the trip. For technical questions or alternative payment options, please contact us.

The group flight may cost between $700-$1000. You will be receiving additional information about details and costs closer to the trip.

*The trip has a minimum of 10 people and a maximum of 25 people
** A $35.00 Service Processing Fee will be added to the tuition.

 CANCELLATION

• Initial deposits and the $35 registration fee are non-refundable and non-transferable
• 50% of payments are refundable up to 90 days before program excluding initial deposit and the $35 registration fee
• 89 days prior to a program, tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable
• Full tuition is refunded if the trip is canceled due to low enrollment. The $35 registration fee is not refundable
• True Nature is not responsible for any loss incurred due to currency conversion rates

Our international programs are opportunities to put into practice the values and mission of True Nature which include service, leadership, adventure, and mindfulness. If you have an interest in the program, have an adventurous spirit, a desire to experience a different culture and a willingness to participate in group activities then you are welcome to join our programs.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

We understand that many questions come up when visiting a place you have never been. What do I bring? What is the weather like? We have created Participant Packages that will clarify these type of questions and more. Once you have registered, we will send you these materials. In addition, on our website we have a comprehensive FAQ section, that also gives detailed answers to common questions. TRAVEL INSURANCE

We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $100, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.

We have partnered with two insurance companies: Trawick International and CSA Travel Insurance (available for U.S. Residents only). For Non-U.S. Residents this policy with Trawick insurance is available: Safe Travels Multi-National.

We encourage you to research the insurance company and policy that best meets your needs.

GETTING THERE

All MJH Students will be flying on the same flight to Costa Rica with the MJH Chaperones. Once the flight details are determined, a notification will be provided at school and provided on this page.
