True Nature Yoga Retreat Destinations

It feels cliche to say that this was a life-changing trip, but all in all, this trip had an enormous positive impact on my life. I experience a new culture. I became more humbled. I learned how meditating can help my body and mind. I gave assistance in places it was needed. I am leaving Costa Rica with a more positive outlook on not only myself, but on life, too. I am blessed and lucky to have met the guides, people of Costa Rica, and the girls who accompanied me on this trip. I wouldn’t change anything about it. If I could do it all again, I would in a heartbeat. Words can’t fully express my gratitude.

This week was an excellent balance of work and play. I loved that I was able to give back to both the community and the environment. I loved the environmental sustainability aspect and feel that I learned a lot that I can bring back to my own country and habits. I wasn’t expecting so much sightseeing and learning of the country and the people and culture, but I loved this aspect so much. I expected very little and came into the trip very unaware of what was going to be in store, but I felt that that uncertainty made the trip that much more impactful and fulfilling. It was an education, eye-opening, heart-opening, soul-searching, beautiful experience.

My week in Costa Rica was nothing short of life-changing. Walking in with zero expectation, I was ready for anything. Along the way I found a host of new friends, new adventures, and new insights on how to live a more mindful, sustainable, and positive life as I move on from this experience. I am forever indebted to True Nature and Costa Rica for this humbling experience. Pura Vida!

I have found myself again. I loved the bond that I have made with several of the other people in the group. I have made many friends for life. Seeing how little acts of kindness goes so far makes me want to do more to change the world for the better. The service work we did really opened my eyes to what is needed in a new part of the world. I help out in my community but now I want to help as many places as possible. The evening circle should be a nightly thing. I feel that it made everyone bond. Parasailing awakened my soul. I saw the beach for the first time and it was life changing. Everything about the trip was great for my heart and soul. I feel like I am closer to God, nature, and humanity.

I had no idea what I was signing up for. This trip was amazing! I got so much more than what I was expecting. The service work was absolutely humbling and put many things in perspective. The group I was in was amazing and I feel like we all bonded as a family. I have 21 new friends. Both group leaders were amazing! Marcela was so supportive and made sure everyone was taken care of. Marysol was personal too and gave great meditation and yoga and natural methods to things. This trip was worth every single penny that I spent. I will never forget this trip and the lessons and memories will stay with me forever. Thank you for this opportunity! This was amazing! I don’t have enough words to explain how life changing this was for me! Pura Vida! P.S. Circle was the BEST and should be mandatory every night!

This trip has been one of, if not the best experience of my life. I have met the most amazing and hardworking women and truly believe I have made friendships for life. Seeing life through another culture has made me realize that WE are the people who need to make a change. This world is a beautiful place and many of us take it for granted. This trip has motivated me to continue making the world a better place, even if I have to do it alone. The women on this trip have inspired me to live life to the fullest and that is something I will cherish for the rest of my life.

Seeing the looks on the faces of the people’s houses that we painted, and interacting with the local children was when I knew that all of the sweat and hard work and time was worth it. In that moment, I knew that I had made a difference, that I had changed someone’s life for the better.

When I signed up for this trip, I really had no real expectations of what was going to happen. On the last day of the journey, I feel like you exceeded beyond belief. This trip was better than a regular vacation. I learned so much about Costa Rica, the culture, economy, and nature. Having the opportunity to help some people of Costa Rica was a blessing. Overall, True Nature gave me a trip to remember. I will absolutely be traveling with this company again. THANK YOU!
