ACCOMMODATIONS

True Nature Education has searched long and hard throughout Peru to find unique, ecologically friendly, and inspiring accommodations for our guests. All of the accommodations are clean, comfortable, and close to nature. Lodging includes electricity, hot water, the internet, a phone, comfortable beds and linens, and an environment that allows you to rest peacefully after a long day of activities. Most accommodations for large groups are shared. Private rooms are occasionally available for an extra fee on a first-come, first, serve basis.  Three delicious homemade meals are included each day.

A $350 deposit will get your name on the big “I Want To Go To Peru” list and officially reserve your spot. It will be deducted from the total amount of the trip cost.

CANCELLATION

• Initial deposits and the $35 registration fee are non-refundable and non-transferable
• 50% of payments are refundable up to 90 days before program excluding initial deposit and the $35 registration fee
• 89 days prior to a program, tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable
• Full tuition is refunded if the trip is canceled due to low enrollment. The $35 registration fee is not refundable
• True Nature is not responsible for any loss incurred due to currency conversion rates

Our international programs are opportunities to put into practice the values and mission of True Nature which include service, leadership, adventure, and mindfulness. If you have an interest in the program, have an adventurous spirit, a desire to experience a different culture and a willingness to participate in group activities then you are welcome to join our programs.

PLEASE NOTE: This trip to Peru takes place in high elevations. The location where we are based is close to 10,000 ft in elevation. For this trip, it is recommended that participants are in good to excellent physical condition. We will be working and hiking in this environment and it will be important to us that all participants are aware of the conditions so they can feel as comfortable as possible. With this, we will all be acclimating to the elevation and conditions together, taking the first couple of days slowly. We will also support acclimation with special foods, and teas, and by taking part in various exercises.

GETTING THERE 

All international flights will arrive at the Cusco Airport in the Sacred Valley of Peru. Most flights come via Lima. From the airport, we will organize one group transport for all trip participants. Before booking tickets please contact us to discuss flight arrival and departure windows for your journey and to be sure group minimums have been reached.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $100, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.

Tuition Price – $2,595 USD

Paying your initial deposit of $350 will lock in your tuition rate and hold your space for the trip. A non-refundable $35 Payment Processing Fee will be added to the tuition rate upon registration.
