IS THIS PROGRAM FOR ME?

The programs are open to anyone 18 – 55 years old.  Most participants are college age and traveling abroad for the first time. Our international programs are opportunities to put into practice the values and mission of True Nature which include service, leadership, adventure, and mindfulness. If you have an interest in the program, have an adventurous spirit, a desire to experience a different culture and a willingness to participate in group activities then you are welcome to join our programs.

We recommend that participants are in good physical condition. We will be exploring and hiking on uneven pathways and up and down hills. It is important to us that all participants are aware of the conditions so they can feel as comfortable as possible.

For your wellbeing, and that of the group, we ask all participants to disclose any existing medical conditions or limitations on the registration form.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

We understand that many questions come up when visiting a place you have never been to. What do I bring? What is the weather like? We have created Participant Packages that will clarify these types of questions and more. Once you have registered, we will send you these materials. In addition, on our website we have a comprehensive FAQ section that also gives detailed answers to common questions. If you have other questions, you can always write to us at info@truenatureeducation.com so we can support you.

Getting There

You will be booking your flights for the Donald Sangster International Airport (MBJ). Before booking tickets, please be sure you have received your official confirmation note that the retreat has met its minimums. There will be one group airport shuttle each way based on our flight window guidelines. Be sure your flights align with the provided flight windows if you wish to use the group shuttle. The drive time to the center is approximately 45 minutes.

Travel Insurance

We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $100, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.

Read more about our insurance partners and their policies here. We encourage you to research the insurance company and policy that best meets your needs.

NSLS MEMBERS SAVE $400 OFF REGULAR PRICE OF $3,195
