Join us for the 2nd Annual Hanger Hall International Expand and Explore Program, as we take an unforgettable journey through the heart of Italy, where adventure meets culture and service. This 7-day trip will transport students to the beautiful Tuscan and Umbrian countryside, where they will immerse themselves in history, art, and community service. From exploring the medieval streets of Cortona and Siena to canoeing on Lake Trasimeno and discovering the timeless beauty of Florence, this trip is designed to ignite curiosity and foster personal growth. With every experience, students will gain a deeper understanding of Italian culture and themselves while making meaningful connections with the local community.

Hanger Hall will be partnering once again with True Nature Travels, a local Asheville-based travel and education company that brings 20+ years of experience.
Guided by True Nature’s dedicated team, students will not only explore famous landmarks but also engage in a unique service-learning opportunity by spending a day with local children, teaching English, and sharing meals. Each day is filled with opportunities to build memories, from hiking in sacred forests to participating in a traditional pizza-making party. With comfortable accommodations, fresh organic meals, and the support of True Nature’s experienced leaders, this trip is a perfect blend of adventure, education, and cultural enrichment.

Travel Insurance

We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $100, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.

Read more about our insurance partners and their policies here. We encourage you to research the insurance company and policy that best meets your needs.
