Over the past 5 years, True Nature Education and The National Society of Leadership and Success have partnered to offer this exciting service, leadership, and adventure travel opportunity to Costa Rica and we are very excited to expand our program to Peru and Italy.
You are invited to join us for a 2018 trip to the Sacred Valley of Peru. Experience the rich culture of this incredible country while doing work to support the people, communities, and preservation of the land and natural environment. You will have an unforgettable journey, full of outdoor adventures, connections with local communities, and service outreach work. In addition, you will have the opportunity to meet new friends for life, learn about being an international student leader, and explore more about yourself. In a time in which our world is becoming more and more of a global community, come be a part of the bridge of support by taking part in this incredible service, adventure, and leadership trip.
During the program, you will participate in several service opportunities* including potential projects such as: working with local school and land preservation projects. We will also be taking an excursion/trek to the ancient site of Machu Picchu.
PLEASE NOTE: This trip in Peru takes place in high elevations. The location where we are based at is close to 10,000 ft in elevation. For this trip, it is recommended that participants are in good to excellent physical condition. We will be working and hiking in this environment and it will be important to us that all participants are aware of the conditions so they can feel as comfortable as possible. With this, we will all be acclimating to the elevation and conditions together, taking the first couple of days slowly. We will also support acclimation with special foods, teas, and by taking part in various exercises.
- 7 Nights accommodation
- 3 Delicious meals each day
- Ground transport to/from the retreat center
- All excursions, activities, and service projects listed in the itinerary
- Facilitation by one of True Nature’s qualified Group Leaders

TESTIMONIALS FROM PAST TRUE NATURE/SOCIETY TRIPS
This experience brought me closer to my own heart than I have ever felt. Being with such humble, happy people has given me the ability to increase my faith in humanity and myself. I am forever changed in the most positive way. This experience has had an everlasting imprint on my memory and my soul.
-Jacquelin Knox
This trip was amazing and inspirational. I’ve never been so close with nature. They help you enjoy what nature has to offer yet showing the importance of taking care of the nature around us. All of this while being able to have fun and to step out of your normal boundaries and be more adventurous. The best part, however, was engaging with the community and the children. That made this trip the most worthwhile.
-Tyler Garrett
This trip is awesome. It gives you the opportunity to become more independent and see the world. After going on this trip, I feel like I have the courage to study abroad in the future. Without this trip, I feel like I would never have found my adventurous spirit. Thank you True Nature and The National Society of Leadership and Success.
