Over the past 5 years, True Nature Education and The National Society of Leadership and Success have partnered to offer this exciting service, leadership, and adventure travel opportunity to Costa Rica.
You are invited to join us in 2019 on one of three trips being offered. Experience the rich culture of this incredible country while doing work to support the people, communities, and preservation of the land and natural environment. You will have an unforgettable journey, full of outdoor adventures, connections with local communities, and service outreach work. In addition, you will have the opportunity to meet new friends for life, learn about being an international student leader, and explore more about yourself. In a time where our world is becoming more and more of a global community, come be a part of the bridge of support by taking part in this incredible service, adventure and leadership trip.
During the program you will participate in several service opportunities* including potential projects such as: planting trees, working at the local school, renovation/construction of a local building (i.e. school, community, center, church), caring for endangered monkeys, cleaning the beach, and sharing our individual gifts – art, music, dance, and sports — with the local communities. Students will stay at eco-hotels and locally run sustainable hotels. Our programs will take place at two different sites in 2018. Site #1 will be next to Manuel Antonio National Park and Site #2 will be located near the village of Chachagua, close to the Arenal Volcano.

TESTIMONIALS FROM PAST TRUE NATURE/SOCIETY TRIPS
My experience with TNE was truly incredible and inspiring. It was exactly what I needed to get back in touch with myself. It reminded me of what I want out of life, which is to help, meet, laugh, hug, and be with people and appreciate the gift of life. I would travel again with True Nature anytime. I am so grateful for this opportunity. Please keep what you’re doing! You change people’s lives for the better!
This has been one of the most amazing, and eye-opening experiences of my life. I have found a new and greater appreciation for so many thins. I have more aware of how much of an impact that all the little things in life have, whiter it be spending a little bit of time to help someone else, or adjusting your perspective just a little- it can make all the difference.
If college doesn’t make you feel independent enough, or if you want to take off a week from the norm and experience something that is both rewarding and productive, True Naure Education is a great opportunity to take that first step. For me, many of the things that I saw, felt, and experienced were first timers that changed the way I recognize culture. Even though, this is only a week long trip, I am going to feel home sick from my family away from home— that is the friends, guides, and people of Costa Rica. They have become like a second family to me. If you are one who dreams big, this experience will sew the seed of wisdom that you will attain from traveling abroad and grow into your redefined self. Pure Vida!
