2nd Annual Mind|Body|Fitness Yoga Costa Rica Experience

with Andrea Dyer, Kristin Luna Ray, and Joshua Canter

March 9-16, 2013

Retreat from your daily routine to the beauty of Costa Rica and the time and space to investigate your yoga practice in this intensive.  In this retreat, a variety of yoga and meditation practices will be offered daily and will help guide you into thoughtful inquiry.  Yoga practitioners on all levels will benefit from this intensive – building strength, balance and inner peace.  Come explore the many ways yoga can bring you home to yourself in the happiest place in the world!

The retreat will take place at Luna Nueva, one of True Nature Education’s favorite retreat destinations. Luna Nueva is a Sustainable Rainforest Eco-Lodge Hotel providing comfortable accommodations situated amidst acres of lush gardens, hiking trails and a secluded jungle, and views of the magnificent Arenal Volcano. The atmosphere of the retreat center is simple, healthy and relaxed. Rooms are double or triple occupancy with fans and hot water and the eco-lodge has beautiful chlorine free swimming pool and jacuzzi. It is an ideal secluded inspirational setting for our retreat.

In this highly participatory retreat, asana (yoga postures) practice will be a major focus. Each morning we will gather, at an outdoor pavilion, and salute the new day practicing together. In the many different yoga practices, yogic philosophy will be offered for personal exploration and there will be time following each practice to reflect and journal about the experience.

During the week, we will have time to practice Karma Yoga (“Yoga in Action”), taking part in service work in the local villages in Nosara. Take this opportunity to give back to local community, feeling the true heartfelt benefits of outreach. We will also practice “Adventure Yoga” as we travel together on breathtaking excursions on the pristine beaches, lush forests, and magical Costa Rican Waterfalls.

The mind|body|fitness yoga Costa Rica Experience is an opportunity for you to come to Costa Rica, deepen your practice, take part in giving though service, and build community through the power of retreat.  This is an experience you will never forget.
